Enter a Food

Include an amount and preparation, such as raw or cooked. Grams are the most reliable option; spoonfuls and counts require a serving size in the USDA entry.

Your meal is empty

No food values or totals are shown until you confirm a USDA match. Meals stay on this page and are cleared when you reload or leave.

How this works: nutrition values come from USDA FoodData Central (a US database). Results depend on which USDA food is matched — check the match shown, and be specific (e.g. “cooked” vs “raw”). Values are per the matched USDA entry and may differ from products or recipes in your country.

Why cooking changes weight and nutrients

Paste a full ingredient list and get USDA-based nutrition for the whole dish and per serving.

Missing values or an unexpected match?

Choose a match with the same food type and preparation. If nothing fits, change the search rather than using an unrelated entry.

USDA entries do not all report the same nutrients. “Not reported” is not zero; a partial total includes only the foods with that nutrient reported.

For tablespoons or individual foods, the selected USDA entry must include a compatible serving weight. If it does not, try an amount in grams instead.
