How to judge a nutrition source in 30 seconds
- Who wrote it? Look for named, qualified authors or an official body.
- Who pays? Check for sponsorship, product sales or affiliate links.
- Does it link to evidence? Claims should point to guidelines or published studies.
- Is it current? Look for a published or reviewed date.
- Does it promise too much? “Detox”, “miracle” and rapid weight-loss claims are red flags.
